hi there,
I'm a new member here although I've read this forum many times. I just got a 2016 denali XL last week with 17k miles and was wondering if the extended warranty was worth it ? I declined it when I was at the dealer because I know I might be able to get it for less somewhere else. Have any of you bought extended warranty for the new generation of Yukon and tahoes? Any regrets ? Is it wasted money ? Luckily my yukon doesn't have any vibration at all and it rides better than my Lexus ls460 did.
Please let me know your thoughts on the purchase of the extended warranty and how much did you pay for yours. Thanks and happy new year !!

Having worked as a service advisor many years ago, I can say from experience that some of them aren't worth the paper their printed on. GM offers a good one, do your research. Avoid the offers that come in the mail I have heard that some of the sales commissions are 60percent of the premium cost. Good luck!

I know that the gmpp is the way to go. Anyone bought it and how much ? I see a lot of things on this truck that can go bad.... lots of electrical such as the USB ports for example which went out on my 2012 yukon. I don't mind spending the money but I want to be sure what others
Have experienced.

There's a dealer on the Corvette forum that has the best price around on a GM factory extended warranty. His name is Ken Fichtner. Here is his ad off the Corvette website. I'm in no way affiliated with him and receive no commission. Just passing the information on.
Ken Fichtner
Former Chevrolet Dealer - Fichtner Chevrolet, Laurel MT
Now New Vehicle Sales Manager, Corvette & Protection Plan Sales - Denny Menholt Chevrolet, Billings MT

Lowest Prices on GMPP by Ally, and Chevrolet Protection Plans (GMEPP) by GM.

Great deals on new Chevrolet cars and trucks. Serving every State!

We bought the extended warranty and my husband talked them down on the price. We got a 6 year/100,000 mile warranty and oil changes/ tire rotation for $1700.

We bought a 2016 LT with 20k miles. The dealer sold it as a "GM certified" used vehicle for an extra $500. 48k mile warranty/100k power train

Damn! What states are you in? 17k, 20k on a 2016 already... I always wonder on these type of mileage. Has the truck been a levery or rental truck.
