Any suggestion for the radio issue though? Checked fuses, disconnected the batter for 5 min and reconnected. Still only one speaker working (Bose) and no beeps from the radio, back up sensor or clicks from turn indicator.

Thanks for any help you guys can give,

Mark

This just happened to me this morning. My 07 Tahoe wouldn't start so my neighbor jumped me off. Now the Nav/radio is completely black, turn signals do not make a sound, park assist is off, and my hard wired radar detector is not working. I'm at work so I haven't had a chance to check the fuses. As far as I know the battery is the original AC Delco so I'm also going to have it tested and most likely replaced with something with a little more juice. The radio issue has me worried though.

Dead Again....

Ok, took the truck in to the dealership again today. They said the problem was two fold on the battery. 1) the PCM that controls the rear seat heaters was staying on even when the key was turned off. This ran down the battery. 2) The continued running down and charging back up, ruined the battery so it had to be replaced.

After replacing the battery and reprogramming the seat PCM and several other PCM's to get the radio, blinker and back up sensor working, it seems we are good to go.

I'll update the thread if I find out anything else.

Update: I took mine to the dealer and at first they had no idea. Through the Nav/radio might be fried and wanted me to pay $300 for them to take it apart just to see if they could fix it or send it off to be repaired. Being as I am a member here and wanted to try a few things other posters had, I said just test the battery and that's it. Well after the guy disconnected the battery to test it, the radio and everything else came back on. The battery was shot so I did replace it but much better than going with their original idea.

I'm now out $250 on this issue with the battery and all of the labor but since my warranty was up, that's not too bad. The AC Delco battery is way over priced but I figured with the 6 year warranty and the fact that they will come jump it off or tow it during that period it makes it worth it. Now I know I have them by the short hairs if this happens again. To their credit, they did repair some other nagging issues at "no charge" to show good customer service.

The funny part was the service writer was a "ford guy". He had nothing good to say about the 2007 model Yukon or Tahoe....pretty funny since he now works for a GM dealer.
