Just got a notice (dated October) for an "automated driving mapping control module" reprogramming...

...to be performed at the dealership.

Anyone have it done? Recognize any difference in the maps or Super Cruise's behavior? Or did it cause any problems?

I'm not going to make a special trip to the dealership for it, but it's on the list for the next time I have the truck there.

The wife took the Yukon in 2 weeks ago. There were a few updates, brake system leakage detection, the mapping module, no issues yet. I used SC when we went to the kids house for Thanksgiving, I didn't notice any difference, but I have always used it on longer drives, not in town where there is stop and go traffic. I tried the stop and go traffic, the issue isn't SC, it's drivers taking the space between you and the car in front of you, SC adjusting the car length, it doesn't know how to tailgate lol.

Did the 3 part update too a couple of weeks back on my 23 Suburban Premier. Nothing was noticeably wrong before. Nothing that l’ve noticed is different since. Was due for an oil change and the dealer applied the updates.

I just gad 3 updates.
Maps--android system--master brake cylinder. The minute i got in my phone was much better at syncing. Also the auto steering was not jumpy from side to side.

Ooo, good! Yeah, I feel like the wheel does a lot of "sawing" going around bends in Super Cruise. So, this action is smoother after the update?

Yes. It doesn't seem to be trying to find the lines as much. Like bouncing side to side

Took my 2024 Sierra Denali in Friday, they did the recall, and it had a DEF issue, DEF always showed full. Dealer ordered a DEF sensor, but Saturday I jumped on the freeway, Super Cruise doesn’t work at all, not even the steering wheel icon on the dash, if I try to engage Super Cruise, dash displays, “Super Cruise Unavailable”. Shop mechanic looked at it this morning, no codes, so he thinks it’s the map module, he’s running down to the dealer this morning, see what they find.
