Yeah the saying on the island when driving at night was "watch for deer". They f up a car real good as you've experienced.
Just hit a deer in my Avalanche. FML.

Glad your ok. That's important part. Where I live deer are all over the place and like to commit suicide with your rig. Funny thing is during hunting season there no where to be found except up the mountains. Summer time they are all over the road and side roads and peoples yards. Out here Moose like to FUBAR stuff up. Swing those paddles right into the side of your rig as they trot off. Glad your rig wasn't totaled.
Holy crap Felix. Just saw this thread as I've been gone for a while and was totally saddened this morning as one of my favorite Avy's (first one I've seen that I loved when I bought mine) was hurt. Glad it's getting fixed. You better post up some pictures when it's done!

Thanks bro. Can't wait to get it back! At least I will have projectors after this... It's the only plus side to the situation.
Exactly and you walked out not hurt to. I hit a deer doing about 70 with my first Mustang. Walked out of that one but needless to say the car had about 13K in damage and was an immediate total. The engine was sitting crooked in the frame rails and the trans went thru the floor pan. So I know how you feel bro, deers coming out of no where suck a$$

Man I'm so pissed. Paid for retrofit projectors on 1/27/14 and emailed em asking on status. They haven't even started!!!!! Description says 2 weeks. So fn aggravating. Body shop called me saying they are waiting on the lights and can't continue without em. Bad situation.
