I think the exit location is fine. Reminds me of a TBSS. I think it sticks out too far, though.

Yeah I think the same thing from certain angles... then from others it looks normal... I don't know... maybe it's because of the curvature/angle of the bumper... who knows.

As a side note when I went to take the video of the exhaust when I got home I somehow corrupted my SD card in my phone. I spent the rest of the evening trying to recover it, as it has irreplaceable pictures on it... no luck yet.. I'm tired and going to bed... maybe I will have better luck tomorrow.

I will try to get a video of it tomorrow and get it posted up here as well.

Carbonite Ken! I back everything up to my desktop PC which runs in a Raid Array, two hard drives are mirror images of one another. Then those are backed up at Carbonite.

I've got a failed Raid 0 (two drives) with priceless photos sitting in a box waiting for the recovery prices to come down; and when I think of it!

Exhaust looks great! Not unlike a 6.2 Tahoe or 2500 6.0.

Alright ladies and jelly spohns, here it is...

I noticed today while cruising about 60mph there is a very annoying drone... it makes the road noise from the tires sound like a... wha- wha- wha.... so I think I'm gonna have to add the resonator back in.

I think I will see if they can stick the resonator up in front of the muffler instead of back at the tail pipe... we shall see... I am getting pretty tired of fooling with it at this point.

I think it sounds pretty good from outside the truck but I can't take the drone.

Thinking out loud, the resonator should be after the muffler, closer to where the stock one was. If you put it in front of the muffler, I don't think it'll do much but add a restriction. If it's further back, it cancels out what the muffler doesn't, and won't restrict anything. I may be wrong, but it's a thought.

She sounds great! But like you, the kids and the Air Force can have the drone(s)!

When all is said and done, you can market a KBuskill Exhaust system!

This very well may be true...

The only reason I was thinking about putting it before the muffler is because with it out back in its original location it makes it tough having a different tip in a different location.

I guess the guys at the muffler shop will just have to bend the pipes a little differently to make it all work OR I will have to figure out something different for a tip.

They did have a dual tip similar to the ones on the SLP resonator delete kit, which I do like pretty well BUT I wanted something different from what we normally see on these trucks.

Oh well, I will probably have an update Monday to tell you guys what I end up doing with it all.

P.S. As a side note I do have the chrome tip with the BOWTIE on it if anyone is looking for one let me know.

I agree with Mike. The stock resonator is designed to cancel out a narrow band of frequency(ies) left over after the muffler. I don't see it being very effective being placed before the muffler, unless the drone you have an issue with is the same frequencies that resonator is designed to cancel out.

There's a relatively simple mathematical formula for determining a pipe length to focus on just the drone. So, if you like the sound and volume, but not the drone, and if the drone seems to be at a fairly specific point, why not try it out? I think with all the other cool, one-off mods you have, making a custom resonator for your exhaust would compliment them. It should be cheap, too, especially with the prices your exhaust shop has as it is. Basically, the resonator would be a simple J-shaped pipe coming off of your exhaust pipe, made to be a certain length and capped off at the end.
