My new 3 chamber Magnaflow arrived today...

Came with tool box art...

A pic down the throat...

I'm also thinking about going old school and sticking an old stainless tip on her straight out the back instead of out the side corner... just to be different...

It's a 4" stainless tip that I had on my old 2 door box body S-10 Blazer.

If it were the early '90's and it was a 5.0 Mustang that would be dope... lol

I too hope it ends up sounding the way I want... I hate spending money on a maybe.

I'm not looking for church mouse quiet but I hope it does what I want... with the truck having headers and no cats she is way louder than I expected. Hopefully this will be a happy medium... guess we will know tomorrow... lol

Got the new 3 chamber Magnaflow XL put on the Burb today... also removed the factory resonator out by the tail pipe and replaced the factory tip with a 4" stainless tip straight out the back...

That is 3 feet of muffler there ladies and jelly spohns.

And one from the side.... I'm still not 100% about the tip location... some angles it looks good, some it looks funny... I think I'm just not used to seeing it there.

Here is a better pic of the Y-pipe I had built as well...

This is where the original Y-pipe joined together right before the transmission crossmember by the transmission pan.

And here is where the new longer Y-pipes come together in front of the next crossmember which is about 1.5'- 2' further back.

I think the exit location is fine. Reminds me of a TBSS. I think it sticks out too far, though.
