Hey folks - I'm tracking down a persistent misfire (which has grown more frequent with time) in my 04 Burb which only seems to occur when in tow/haul mode, even when not pulling anything. Live data shows misfire on 1 & 6 that trigger the CEL with a very small number of misfires logged in the same two locations when not in tow/haul mode. With the help of members here I have tested and eliminated almost everything short of an intake/vacuum leak (fuel pressure, injector pulse duration, spark/coil). As a result, I am preparing to replace the intake manifold gaskets once it warms up a bit here. I am thinking that I should also replace the knock sensors while I am in there. Any recommendations on brand? From what I have read some of the generic replacements (Dorman etc) can cause issues - don't want to have to take the whole intake apart again.

As an aside, I haven't been able to do a cam relearn because my VCXNano can't seem to maintain a connection during the testing procedure ... not sure what's going on there.

Sounds like your plastic intake is cracked.

Mine seems to "lose communications with vehicle" quite a bit, too. Tried various updates/firmwares and it seems to do it randomly no matter. Even trying to go in and test the e-fan relays it will crap out.

Let us know if you figure anything out there.

Can't remember if i tried win7 but current setup is
Windows 10 x64
JRE 8 x32
