It's raining pretty good right now, so I'll probably swing by auto zone or advance auto tomorrow to see if they can tell me. I did double check to ensure that the MAF and air box are both tight. Hopefully it's just being funky bc I disconnected it.
If you started it or maybe even turned the ignition on when anything was unplugged with the MAF or throttle body that would definitely cause a CEL.

So can I just ask an auto store to reset it? Because I did start it before putting everything back together to ensure the high beams worked after installing them.

Same situation for me when i changed my lights. And i suspected that connector too. I cleared the code and waited to see if it reappeared and it never did.
I say it's worth a try for you.

A lot of them WON'T reset it because they know people clear codes and then sell a car. I know someone who works at Advance Auto Parts and they say that can read codes but not clear them as per company policy.

I got one of those $20-some OBD2 Bluetooth code readers for a smartphone, uses the Torque Lite app. That'll read it, clear it and more. Was going to get a link for you but it was years ago and the one I purchased isn't found any longer on Amazon.

OBDLink MX+ OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner for iPhone, Android, and Windows - on Amazon.

This is the best one to get. It’s expensive, but if you use any scanner or OBD-II apps on your phone or computer, it’s the most compatible. I’ve tried the cheap ones, this one is the best.

These are what came up when the guy checked. However, when I started the engine after he plugged the device in, the damn check engine light turned off.

Sometimes they clear themselves after awhile if the problem is no longer detected, although it will definitely be a stored or history code. I forgot to mention that disconnecting the battery will clear codes as well. Don't do this if you have any emissions testing in your near future as you'll fail until the readiness monitors are satisfied.

Yeah, I'll see what happens next time I start it up.
