Has anyone here installed an LED light bar behind their grille? I've been wanting to install an LED light bar for some time but I can't find a place that I like on the truck so I thought of maybe hiding it behind the grille. If anyone has any experience with this I have a question. Does it block any light being behind the grille? If anyone has any pictures of their LED light bar setups please post pictures, even if they aren't behind the grille I would still like to see different options. I've been leaning towards 2 36w led bars like you find on amazon or ebay on each side of the lower grille.

I don't have any experience with leds behind the grill but I put 6 in hella driving lights behind the grill of a 2003 F 150 and never noticed a loss of light output. Only when parked right in front of the garage did I notice the grill shadow.

I had done the same but four 6" lights behind the grill on my 2001 two flood and two spot

Jake,
I installed a LED bar behind the grille on my 07 Yukon. Not sure what it looks like behind your grille with NBS. On the NNBS, I had a piece of aluminum welded across the support beams for the radiator. It was been working great and glad I did it.

Here is the link for my write up. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
