These arrived yesterday, and went in last night. EXTREMELY pleased with them, other than the ATS and BRAKE lights that are for some reason now dinging and shining at me on the dash every time I get in the truck...on to the next project...:okay2:

Are these Spyder's?

I found a pair on Amazon but there isn't a picture of the rear, did yours come with resistors?

Yup, they are spyder's and came with resistors...having some issues though currently ---> no night time running lights in the rear at night. Anyone have an idea what would be causing this? All my fuses checked out...:doh2:

Just got my Spyder's, The resistors are built to the back of the tail light housing like everyone mentioned, and apparently are doing their job, no hyperflash, no cruise control issue, no ABS/ or any other dash light popping up...

Ironically, I got a Shit mold job from the "Sonar" Thai factory these are made in. Both sides have a groove cut, almost looks like a Dremel was used to correct a bad mold job, on both lights, in the exact same spot., where a groove was ground down, and is flaking a little...

Anyways, Amazon is awesome as usual and a replacement has already been sent out.

Seem pretty vibrant compared to factory lights, The OEM fit is off, they have a decent amount of play, there is a gap whether on top or bottom of the light, I can push them all the way up, or down before securing screws, but there is definitely play and unsecure fit compared to factory Tails. I had to stand back a few times and look at the symmetry and re-adjust until satisfied, and they are still not going to be perfect. On a side note, to future buyers of Spyders, once you connect all the wire harness's they do not spin and "snap" into place on the housing, the actually will keep spinning if you are expecting it to "stop" like a factory tail light. My advice, turn it about the same distance as where you would normally feel the harness snap-secure on a factory light and leave it alone, otherwise it WILL keep on spinning and not catch on anything, I learned that quickly on the first plug...

Wanted to post a comparison of before/after and actually was surprised..
The LED's look great but honest after comparing it to my old setup, they arent as bright as I was expecting.
FYI The old pic has standard Silver-Star Bulbs with a layer of VHT Nightshades.

Mine aren't tinted but they are super bright at night. Im going to say borderline almost too bright. Yours look good. I am contemplating a light tint on mine.

I'm surprised that you do not think they are all that bright. Mine are brighter than my reverse bulbs, unfortunately. Basically using a red light to back up. Despite mine being tinted, they are ridiculously bright. Of course, since they are LEDs that are "channeled", they are only "bright"/direct when you are looking straight at them at no angle.

Arent't LED's brightest when looking at them head-on (like from someone sitting in a car behind you)? Maybe they just dont look as bright because you took the picture from too high of an angle? Maybe squat down a little and retake the picture.

Eh, Mine are bright no matter what directly behind, its when your 2 lanes over that they arent as bright.

**Update**, the viewing angle like you said SLCHOE, standing behind the truck in the driveway wasnt a good indicator.. Yeah they were sharp and vibrant but didnt blow my mind....until I was at CVS today and locked the car from 20 feet away I guess at the right angle and it was very very bright.. as in someone will see me braking from a far distance like someone said here earlier in the thread...

***UPDATE***

Replacement tails arrived today from Amazon and these are ******* worse that the first pair I was about to mail back.

I called a few vendors, and they all basically said, "If this is your 2nd pair of SPYDER'S in a row, this is obviously how they are being made from the Sonar factory in Thailand. If it's just along the edge, My advice would be to tape off the tail light and wetsand the imperfection with 1000-2000 grit, and then Rubbing compound, then buff & wax OR go with a different brand"

Im flirting with the idea of doing that to my first pair because that actually would probably work. I shouldnt have to do shit, but I keep getting the same answer from vendors "We dont stock them so nobody can inspect them before shipping them to you"

This 2nd pair actually makes my 1st pair look great.

See for yourselves
