Well, I bought LED bulbs for my reverse lights and they did not fit as advertised... and I broke the base of one, then busted out the pocket knife to get the other one to fit.. so see the attached photo, driver side has oem incandescent bulb while passenger side has LED. I can say my LED is not as bright as incandescent - but is cooler (Kelvin).

I bought led bulbs for mine and they are definitely brighter than my halogen bulbs were. I didn't have any problems with fitment of the bulb or the housing.

Thanks for the comparison shot :Good or Bad: - I actually prefer the white and will stick with OEM for now. Down the road I could always change it.

Just installed my smoked spider/sonar tails today that I got from Amazon, and also threw in some 3157 led reverse lights too. I didn't have any fitment issues, but I did run into the short wire(on both sides) problem. All I did to resolve that was firmly pull(not yank)the wires for the plugs and they gave me what I needed and then some.
No hyper flash either, don't know about cruise control yet but I'll update later,
Let me know what you think

These arrived yesterday, and went in last night. EXTREMELY pleased with them, other than the ATS and BRAKE lights that are for some reason now dinging and shining at me on the dash every time I get in the truck...on to the next project...:okay2:

These look like the lights I recently installed. I am using the regular 3157 bulb for reverse.

Are these Spyder's?

I found a pair on Amazon but there isn't a picture of the rear, did yours come with resistors?

I called Spyder, and they said they all come with load resistors, but in every instructional video on their youtube page, you can clearly see there arent resistors present when they are plugging the sockets back up to the new light...
