@devious1 since you have 5100s, take those struts and adjust them up to level the truck. Free mod since you have the parts already!
@AllStock nice Yukon but this thread section was for 07-14, anyways love the truck! Please share details of wheel/tire combo plus what center caps your running on those 962 x12s.

@01Konvict. Whoops! Haha sorry about that. But tires are 35x12.50r20 Atturo Trailblade m/t. ( good reviews great tread wear so far, kind of noisy but its a given for a m/t) moto 962 20x12 -44 i cant rememver center cap off top my head i will check my gmail to see and get back to you. Its basically a short push in style center cap, tapped it in very snug, love it. Stock plastic caps for wheels broke first day i went to install haha

@AllStock thanks for the center cap find! Looking to get some 20x12s but don't think I have enough clearance for them up front on the bumper. GM designed a plastic bracket to hold the plastic bumpers so stuck right now for trimming without having the corners flop around. Trying to see how much it might rub on a x12 versus my current x10 at -24mm. I see you trimmed a bunch of your front end. Keep pics coming of the Yukon!

Get a level kit lift and Bilstein 5100s. The front shocks automatically lift the fron an 1" but are adjustable so maybe only need a 1/2" spacer to mount on bottom. This giving the front 2-2.5" of lift which is fine for stock angles. Then get a 1-1.5" rear coil spacer. If you want 4" go with Rancho or CST any bigger go 7" FTS or McGaughys
Interesting that you would mention the CST and Rancho 4" kits as I was looking at them both for my '13 Z71. That is about all I can go and still get into the downtown parking garage since this is my daily driver. I presently run Terra Grappler 285/60R18E on Fuel Trophy D552 18"x9" wheels. I'm also thinking of going to 305/60 or even 325/60 G2 and figure I will need the 4" especially for the 325's.

Any experience with the CST stuff? I've used Rancho before but that was 20+ years ago on a Toyota so I consider that worthless for evaluating Rancho today. I'm not a desert racer but not a rock crawler either. I want to be able to run down pipeline ROW's at 40-60 mph without damaging anything or losing control. Would the 4" Rancho or CST kit allow for that kind of driving? Thanks for any input, it will be appreciated.

Nice Pics guys and great info!

I do have a couple questions however. I have an 08 Tahoe 4x4 and currently stock with a 285/70/17. I am looking at this kit from CCM. http://www.ccmoffroad.com/2007-2014...vy-3-leveling-lift-gmc-sierra-1-25-rear-lift/ Is this the kit I would need it doesn't say Tahoe but their more or less the same and what tire size do yall suggest I run? Keep the 285/70/17 or can I step up a little bigger and will I need to trim?

Ok maybe a few ? But thanks for the help.
