2” or 2.5” kit? The link says 2”. Also what are the brand/model tires? So I did the thing, went with 2.5 and 35x12.5x20 on 0mm… definitely gonna need some trimming and have to go back to get rear leveled out but i got called into work and had to schedule another day the border has slim pickings on tires.. and everything lol.View attachment 389742
It’s a 2.5 inch I dunno why it tried to link anything, but the tires are mileking something I didn’t want them but that’s all they had. I myself prefer cooper. I do have a question I see where the rubbing is it’s toward the inside in the rear, what’s the best way to trim this or move the liner back? It’s not too bad but it’s there and it’s bothering me lol.2” or 2.5” kit? The link says 2”. Also what are the brand/model tires?
On mine, they zip tied the felt back. Not sure if they removed anything behind it to allow. It’s a 2.5 inch I dunno why it tried to link anything, but the tires are mileking something I didn’t want them but that’s all they had. I removed these brackets, they were right behind the felt and causing the rub. Their shape and beefiness made them tough to trim in any way, and they protrude a lot. Don’t see any way around them for those that have them and have a decent amount of rub. It’s a 2.5 inch I dunno why it tried to link anything, but the tires are mileking something I didn’t want them but that’s all they had. @Goggs7 lift looks fantastic, nice choice on wheels and tires too. Wheel offset and tire size look perfect.View attachment 388892
So after much research and searching around I finally ended on this set up. I’m very happy with the way it turned out!
3.5 rough country lift
295/60r20 nitro trail grappler
20x9 +01 fuel blitz rim
I've been wanting to upgrade from 33" to 35" for my next set of tires, just to fill out the wheel well a little more and add a little more tire profile on my 24's. Only I'd have to do more trimming than what I've already done on the front of mine. My guess is probably taper it out wider another inch both ways towards the bottom and remove one of the end caps on the running board to make it flush with the lower rocker panel... Or have it trimmed down a couple of inches. But, I don't want to risk damaging the built-in LED lights embedded in the step.So I did the thing, went with 2.5 and 35x12.5x20 on 0mm… definitely gonna need some trimming and have to go back to get rear leveled out but i got called into work and had to schedule another day the border has slim pickings on tires.. and everything lol.View attachment 389742
