I've had zero issues on the lS engines I've built, using the Delphi LS7 lifters. Identified by the gold color retaining clip in the end.

An often overlooked part of an engine rebuild are the lifter bores. Just as important, if not more so, than the cylinder bores. Issues are more common with the aluminum blocks at greater than 200,000 miles. Like everything else, it comes down to regular oil changes with a full synthetic oil using quality filters. Well they are repairable with a sleeve, the economics of repairing it depends on how many lifter bores need to be addressed.

do you remember where you bought them at? the original ls7 lifters installed in ls7 would seem to be what we really need. I've driven a buddy's ls7 c6 and it ran right up to 7k rpm and smacked the relimtied with zero sign of drop off. they did something right for a hydraulic lifter to do that on a stock push rod v8.
