First bank of lifters replaced at 8,000 miles on 21 Tahoe. Begged for both to be replaced, but this was before they changed their policy and would only do the one side that failed. Numerous calls to GM Corporate.
Second bank failed at 42,000. What is the confidence level in these vehicles once both have been replaced?

Since GM is still delivering new trucks with the same issue.. I have a feeling even "new" lifters may still be questionable..

I have said it before, and will say it again. There is only -1- GM Engine I would buy right now. 3.0 Diesel.

I tried on two occasions to get the other side replaced via a long letter to the executive corporate team to no avail. They basically stated, it's working now and there are no known issue. SMH
