Spoke too soon, was dead all night tonight, it be gone! Then pulling up to the house, one of my headlamps burned out too.

You know I'm going to have to order bulbs since all anyone around here carries are x-treme this or super brite that that don't last as long? I just wanted plain old AC Delco or Phillips 9008s but not going to find them around here, well, maybe the dealer but they're seven bucks plus slow shipping at GMPartsDirect or $12 for Amazon Prime.

Might be best to replace both sets of headlights, including the high beams. GM over-complicated headlight bulb replacement with this truck. There are a few videos on Youtube where you can angle the headlight housings slightly enough to stick your hand in and remove and replace the old ones.

Dammit I just went out to look and I think mine are out too. It's not dark yet so it's hard to tell.

Mine were completely out. The right side lit up every once in a while.

You need part #15926099 . Got mine on eBay for $35.80 shipped.

Not worth it to me. Literally 10-15 min to have that bumper off. In my mind id rather do that as opposed to scraping cutting the shit out of my hands, risk breaking tabs on headlights or ripping the bumper cover at the grill.... just my opinion tho

I watched them videos and think it'll be easier to to pull the grill and pop the fender liners too. My hands are too big to go in the other way. Not a big deal. At least it's not like my old '96 F-150!

Ordered my headlight switch from Amazon this afternoon, they had a 20% off coupon so it'll be under $27 delivered. PN# 25858705

You're probably right on this. My hands would be shredded if I didn't have my 'Mechanix' gloves on.

I cant work with gloves on, even the stupid rubber gloves, it annoys me.. id rather have grease under my fingernails than put on a pair of gloves...i know stupid and my problem but still. And its prolly more 5-10 min to have that bumper off....ive taken mine off and put it back on 15,000x when i mounted my plow..
