I'll be picking this up on Saturday. It's a GMC 4dr 4x4. It does have a few problems but it does run and drive great! Will need a back passanager window, front bumper and grill. I can get all that form a pull it yard. I will switch out my hood on my hoe for the one that's on it (it has a steal ram air one). I ll switch out the rims as well and tail lights too. I like the ones it as we'll. I got a buddie who is getting rid of his bead locks after Christmas and those will be my trail rims and the ones on it now will be my street rims. The interia is in dam good shape seeing how they used this truck as a camp rig.

Now the bad:

It will need a IFS. For some reason they took out the greats, drive shaft, and CV joints. The transfer case works and instad of trying to rebuild it would probley be easyer to just pull one from the pull-it yard and switch it out. Or just start on a SAS on my 2 door and put my old IFS in it. I wonder if I could take the transfer case out of GMC and put it in mine and get rid of the dam auto track out of mine. Then again if I got that route I could go a head and put a standered trany in mine.

NICE FIND!

Why not just keep it 2wd? Clean it up...drive it. Use your other truck as a trail rig.

Thats what Im probley going to do. My brother is wanting a second car so I might let him drive it wile I fix it up. I would make it a trail rig but in the south big trucks dont do so well on the trails down here. In the west thats another story. I found a S/C for 1500 with everything! Looks like my Hoe will be getting wipped soon ;-) I need to get a name for this thing. How bout "nightmare".

Good deals are out there, just have to be ready to jump on them when they expose themselves. I just picked up this 99 Tahoe for $500 bucks. Owner said head gaskets were blown. I started it up and drove it onto the trailer and drug it home. Found both heads cracked. Other than brakes, tires, and a set of lower ball joints it should be on the road soon.
