I agree.
We were shopping for this same generation Tahoe a few years ago and it seemed there were plenty of solid candidates.
Now they seem pretty scarce, especially in comparison to a few years ago.

Looks like something I'd do. But not on our No.1 machine. Is that an actual transmission atf spec. inline filter? Never knew there was something like that.

The two crimp fittings are dry. The seepage is at the worm gear clamps at the filter.

At first I just thought the two worm gear clamps on the crimp fittings were to help attach the lines at the core support piece but I did not see where they would attach. Then I decided that they were for "extra measure".
