I sleep in the back for a few weeks a year when camping. I've been using rocks, wood blocks, etc for awhile. Because of the forward to aft slope of the cargo area, I always end up sliding down to the gate in the middle of the night. My 2x1 inch level has just made it worse. Some places I go, I'm forced to sometimes park on a 5-7 degree lateral slope. I'm trying to reduce the space I'm using to carry around 6x6, 4x4 and 2x4 blocks as I'm already stuffed to the gills with my gear.

**EDIT** I'm starting to answer my own questions as to options by researching RV and Camping sites, but still welcome opinions.

Thanks, Wade. It does help. I'm amazed how many people in the article are NOT bothered by not sleeping level. I don't consider myself OCD, but I've had way too many nights of poor sleep because of this.

I bought a couple of Harbor Freight 2 1/2 ton scissor jacks that have a pretty wide base. Going to try them out next week.

Are you wanting to level it with the suspension so that the body is level? If so, just get spacers for the coils for however much it needs to come up.

If you mean you wanna leave it as-is but have it level when parked, how about setting one of them levels that beep back there, then slowly maneuvering on a slightly sloped surface until it beeps? Hold the brake, stomp the parking brake then put the trans in Park.

...And now I'm hearing James Hetfield, "...until it beeeeeeps".

Thanks, Chris.

Most campsites aren't that much of a problem. Rocks and blocks usually do the trick. I'm already leveled with rear spacers. It's the occasional odd spots I'm forced to camp in that are the problem. I'm lowest in seniority with my hunting buddies, so I always get the $hittiest parking spots! I've bought a pair of stout RV scissor jacks I'm going to try out over the next couple of weeks. I might try out that level...
