Looking for some advice on lifting my 01 Tahoe. I just replaced my shocks with bilstein 5100s , I did remove the air shocks and the compressor that were blown. I would like to buy larger springs and go with a 2.0 or 2.5 inch lift. It seems impossible to find any larger spring. I hear people are running z71 springs? I can't seem to find those any where either. Does any one have a part number for the z71 springs?

I've got an 01 that's lifted 3". I used 3" spindles up front, no adjustment to the keys at all and I'm running Z71 springs with 2.5" spacers in the rear. I got my springs from rockauto.com I think. I just looked up the same year Z71 and bought the springs. I'm also running the Bilstein 5100s all around. The ride is good but I've had my shocks for years now and I think one of my fronts is blown out. Other than that, all is good.

I would do lift spindles paired with Z-71 rear coil springs and a 2" rear coil spring spacer.

Got my spindles off ebay for around $250/pr. If you prefer name brand parts, expect to pay name brand prices. I had been looking at the Fabtech 3"/4" spindles but they were like $500+/pr. So it really just comes down to preference I guess.
