i just replaced the center parking brake cable and adjusted (tightened) the rear disc parking brake shoes , and i still have play in the parking brake pedal and cable . is there another adjustment point maybe on the pedal assembly ? the old center brake cable did have a nut on it to tighten down cable, but new cable (dorman) does not have this same adjustable point on it .
last center cable snapped and pedal cable got stuck , in which i had to use visegrips to pull it free . 2001 Tahoe 5.3 LT
