P1345 is the code for cam sensor distributor probably didn't get out back in right. It's either off a couple teeth or turned too far in one direction. You either need to be lucky, really experienced with it, or have an advanced live data capable scanner to set the timing correctly. I just got lucky when I did my distributor.

Does it run pretty rough when your try to drive it possibly vibrate at certain or all rpm ranges? Listening to it off my s6 so the sound might be a little distorted but it sounds like the timing is off far enough to be igniting the cylinders too early or too late. Which would also go with your p1345 code. Engine needs to be set at top dead center and when the distributor is installed the #8 on the rotor plate should be in line with the number stamped on the main body edge. Ending with the flat side of the distributor should be pretty close to parallel with the back edge of the intake manifold.

I really have not driven it yet.the guy is coming back with His better scanner so he can reset the timing.
It does take a lil while to start now.idles like crap and seems to run ruff.

Yup the 97 tahoe I recently bought needed new plug wires badly and I had p1345 code also. Mine was close idled great but higher rpms it would vibrate the truck. When he gets there ask him what the condition of the distributor gear looked like. If it was worn and he's willing to make sure it gets timed correctly maybe have him toss in a replacement from the local parts store. I replaced mine with a cheapy reman and used the better quality cap and rotors I had already purchased for the tuneup. If the issue returns later on in think then I'll use the msd one that's been referenced a few times on the forum.

Could that code cause that loud knocking or tapping sound in the engine if the timing is off alot. Because it would start fine then stall after a minute. Then he adjusted it and it started but made that weird sound that sound.

Yes I can but like I said I could be hearing it wrong trying to listen to it through a cell phone. Regardless tho if you have p1345 you definitely need to get the timing fixed. Start with what you definitely know is wrong and go from there.
