The 00-06’s normally run 40-50 hot idle unlike the 07-14’s which normally run 20-30 hot idle.
Are you sure? I just notice 2 days ago that my AFM works only when coolant temperature is bellow 210. I made some research and found that oil pressure should be in the range of 27-66psi To enable AFM. On my 2010 Tahoe, I also have around 20-22psi oil pressure at idle or not accelerating and 30-40 when accelerating when motor is hot. It doesn’t look normal . I will try to change the oil sensor filter which looks to be a problem on this engine. I got this Tahoe since few time, mileage is 100k but I‘m really not sure it was well maintained since 3 years because I don’t have any maintenance reports paper or carfax info since end of 18’. I will also change oil , oil filter to be safe

Yes I’m sure. Also, AFM doesn’t activate at idle so the pressure at idle has no effect on it. 20-22 at idle is normal for your truck. You can do more research if you feel I’m in error though. There’s tons of info on this.
