Lower Control Arm Issue

I have an aweful creaking in the front and found out both lower ball joints have play in them. And they are whats squeaking. I ordered some moogs from rockauto for $28 a piece. Ive done many pressed in ball joints usually with a BFH and a little help from giant sockets or round tubing to go around the ball joint. It was only $45 to get a whole new control arm with value ball joints but figured i should get some good ones. I think the SUVs had aluminum arms and trucks had steel. Or maybe police package had steel idk.
