Form what I've heard/read, around 3 inches. On your factory ones, if you go adjust the torsion keys/bars past 1.5 inches, you can't get back to spec. With these, you should be able to double that.

I didn't use these, so I'm not 100% certain on it though. Maybe someone can chime in and give some info on it as well.

are they easy to install?

Well, you have to take your upper a arms out to put these in. If you have enough expertise, then yes. I could do them myself, but I have access to a lift and all tools needed.
