I have a '98 that I recently swapped the 5.7 with a 383 drop in replacement. My question for you is what are you doing with your drive train?
I'm starting to feel a little thunk/looseness in the drive train, U joints seem OK. I'm starting to research stronger drive train and suspension upgrades. I have a few amps, crossover, subs and 6.5" 2 ways I'll be installing but for now I have a couple of 6x9's under the passenger seat on the stock head end and just got the speaker level to line level widget to put a little power to those.

That’s what AAA Plus is for. My theory is if you don’t have to get a tow home at least once a year due to something breaking under WOT, you’re not driving it hard enough.Good plan, I'm starting to get a little play, just looking to avoid those phone calls for help when I can.
