I wouldn't port/polish your TB, you aren't pushing enough HP to make it worth your while moneywise.

Even if my friend is going to do it for free??? Iʻm swapping my heads to ported, polished and matching 241ʻs and match a cam with it and port the TB... No good? I canʻt do it to my stock 243 heads cause I canʻt have my Hoe down for longer than a weekend... What are your thoughts Jenna??? Thanks!!!

I would not use the 241s, your 243s are better than those. As far as the TB, I am running my stock TB with quite a bit more HP, if that says anything...

Many folks also claim gains with the LS7 TB...but they would be sad if they saw the dyno sheets.

What????? Even if they are ported and polished??? Shoot... I read on the LS1Tech website that there were gains to be made... I just wasted $200 then??? Ugh...

In the end, you have to do what you have to do. Not saying you cant do up the 241 and just put them on and run them. you will always have a set of 243 you can polish up and put back on at a later date. We are here to give you options and ideas. in the end it's your call.
