Lug Spacing on 2500 series Suburban?

Ok, so I'm thinking ahead here...

If I were to get a 1999 or so 2500 series Suburban.

How many lugs and what would be the spacing?

3/4 and 1 ton chevy trucks are 8x6.5. The newer trucks might be metric now. I dunno.

Most 8 lug trailers are 8x6.5 also. 6 lug trailer are 6x5.5, 5 lug is usually 5x4.5, 4 lug is 4x4.

Some 3/4 tons came with 6 lug axles. It's a semi floater compared to the 8 lug full floater axle. Some of the semi floater axles also came with 8 lug axles.

K, Im not real good with axle stuff... If I want to be able to carry 3/4 ton, could this semi floater cause problems?

the Semi floating rear end came on trucks with a 7200 GVWR, the full floaters were 8400.
