I plug my iPhone in before I turn the car on but but my parents have xm and I love it my radio is capable but I need to buy the receiver and then pay monthly.. How much is it monthly !?

I dont know, lol, I am currently getting it for free...we will see how long that last though...

I haggled em down to about $8/mnth for the XM/Best of SIRIUS platinum package.

I'd probably do it for that, but no way I'm paying $18/month just for the comedy channel and a Braves game every now and then.

We got rid of our XM when they made the merge. IMHO, XM was way better than Sirius and they axed alot of good, funny DJs on some of our channels, not to mention screwed up some decent programming. The nail the coffin for us was after we quit their service, we would get solicitation calls, emails and letters literally every week from them.
I too am one of the ones that wishes I could banish the XM feature off my radios...

SIRIUS > XM all day IMO. NFL, Howard Stern, etc. Much better content.......
