Catbacks seem ridiculous, especially on the Eskys and Denalis, where they use smaller pipes then stock. Stupid. The stock 3.5" pipes create quite a racket inside, but they flow better then a 3" system will.

if you look at my write up on the escalade the resonator is str8 thru only one little hole in there to quiet it down. didnt do much on mine then again the tow truck dropped my truck here at my house i drove it into my garage and cut it right off and left a turn down lol

I wanted to cut it off when the muffler shop put on the tip. They didn't have any 3.5" pipe, so I couldn't. When I buy the MagnaFlow, I'll pick up a few feet of pipe too so they can do it all.

So on my 07 SLT I need to pickup a set of 2.75 to 3 expanders? I'd rather pick some up at the hardware shop so they don't over charge me at the garage
