what model MF did you go with? sounds good at idle/wot with no drone?

Check ur local Midas shop they have them as a package. However my package had to be changed since my trk uses dual in dual out and the package uses single dual. I choose the MF because I didn't want drone or too loud, I have heard the Flowmasters and didn't want it that loud. For me at least

OK I just checked my paperwork and the part number for the Muffler I declined (dual single) MAG12258

The Muffler I went with (dual dual) is 12468. Hope that helps

I run the Magnaflow muffler 5" x 11" 22" Body 3" O/C 12589 on my 07. I had the resonator removed but felt it was to loud so I had the shop put it back on. I feel it sounds alot like my Trailblazer SS did stock. This is what I was looking for so I am happy. I can hear it coming down the street when the wife drives it but it is not "look at me" loud.

how hard is it to remove/re install a resonator?

The previous owner cut it off but kept it. When I had the Magnaflow installed I took it for a spin and then had them weld the resonator back on as I wanted no drone.

Lol I would if I knew how to...

It's so hard to explain sound of an exhaust... I cruise mostly at 70 mph, about 2250 RPMs, I can hear the exhaust but it isn't droning. I can talk on the phone no prob, and can listen to the radio at low volume without having to turn it up much to cancel out the exhaust tone.

At idle it sounds real smooth with a nice low tone to it, but not very loud.

When standin on it, it will definately produce that throaty tone that makes us men turn our heads when we hear it pass down the street.

What's the best way to get a decent sound clip on here?
