Magnetic Phone Mount Location

With the dash being so busy/curved surfaces and gear shift being in a less than ideal position, where have you mounted your phone mount?

*Not interested in windshield mount*

Looking into scocshe magnetic mounts and CD insert mount (but covers the air controls)

I use a vent mount - the vent next to the shifter. Works awesomely!

proclipusa.com has awesome mounts for different spots. you can get a holder for your specific phone. I have the vent mounted one and then actually just glued on a magnet mount to it for my phone. I also use the passenger side mount for the center console for my iPad that works great

I have the Proclip Console Mount in combination with the Scosche MagicMount. The case I have (Tech21 Evo Check) has a rubbery feeling backin gthat holds very well on the mount so it doees not require me to have the magnet on the phone or case. I am able to tilt the mount in my direction and the phone stays on just fine.
