I wanted to go with MSD wires but just heard about so many issues with them. I tried the Taylor wires and the Accel Ceramic ones are much better. You get a nice positive lock when clipped on so no need to question if they're on all the way. They can also literally lay on a header and not burn up.maybe a set of MSD wires and Accel boot guards, plus getting headers ceramic coating.
*the problem with boot gaurds in my opinion is that it's a tight fit but the wire/boot doesn't touch. Then you add a boot gaurd that is big and bulky that literally lays on the header now conducting heat turning it into an oven. On my 427" BBC I tried that and kept burning up the boots even though they didn't touch.
