maybe a set of MSD wires and Accel boot guards, plus getting headers ceramic coating.

I wanted to go with MSD wires but just heard about so many issues with them. I tried the Taylor wires and the Accel Ceramic ones are much better. You get a nice positive lock when clipped on so no need to question if they're on all the way. They can also literally lay on a header and not burn up.

*the problem with boot gaurds in my opinion is that it's a tight fit but the wire/boot doesn't touch. Then you add a boot gaurd that is big and bulky that literally lays on the header now conducting heat turning it into an oven. On my 427" BBC I tried that and kept burning up the boots even though they didn't touch.

how about spark plugs OEM? MSD Iridium Spark Plugs 37134 or ACDelco Iridium Spark Plugs 12680072 have good reviews.

I'm following your build closely, you are doing a lot of what I'm planning for mine this spring. I am still on the fence between kooks and American racing headers. Out of curiousity, what made you pick kooks?

Having owned both I would definitively conclude you can’t go wrong either way, one isn’t better than the other....think of it as like choosing between Lamborghini or Ferrari, there’s no wrong answer, neither has a clear cut advantage over the other

here are some side by side pics I took for comparison:

Top kooks 1 3/4" // Bottom ARH 1 3/4" (both for NNBS trucks and SUVs)

If anything I might give the slight design edge to ARH as you can see below on the passenger side header (1st pic) with the Kooks you have to route a starter ground wire (requires removing 1 bolt) through the primaries where as with the ARH design you never have to touch this wire and it already clears underneath the header, but then again when it comes to the y pipe design I prefer the Kooks Y as they offer a Y Pipe specific to the year model since they changed the cat-back connection between 07-08 and 09-14...Kooks offers 2 different Y Pipes where as ARH Y Pipe just comes pre fit for 07/08 and includes an adapter for the later years

AC Delco for sure... As I mentioned, you may want 1 stage colder though and iridium doesn't do well for high cylinder pressure. Great for a 100k mile plug though

*start with an AC Delco LSA plug from a CTSv or ZL1 Camaro if you want OEM

ok just order the ACCEL ACC 9070C Extreme Ceramic Boot Plug Wire for GM LS Gen IV Engines will see how they fit, and since already have the AC Delco OEM plugs and ACDELCO D513A D510C Ignition Coil will put them in.

Oil pressure sending unit and knock sensors are both hiding under the intake.

Knock is located on the side of the block one on each side
