Methed Out Fuel Gauge

Well the GF never told me about the fuel gauge coming down off an 8 week meth binge. Normaly and has always simply did the buzz/blur needle effect. I borrow the truck this morning and the needle now goes E, F, E, 1/4, E, F etc...

Is the sending unit fuckered? Ground? Cluster?

Speaking on the ground as Ive never cleaned it. Where it is located?

Just general location would suffice. Assuming you know

Haven't checked for it on the 'nail but on my OOBS trucks the ground for the sending unit is on top of the frame rail near the fuel tank, I gather for the 'nail it would be similar, check that out...

There are two places you need to look, One in the harness at the frame rail over the tank, the other is on the fuel pump plate itself, Not easy to get too with tank installed.
