The one thing to consider is it is possible, maybe even probable that GM doesn’t really know when they will receive the needed parts to make your vehicle complete. So, what, then, would/should GM tell it’s customers. Because it seems like “we don’t know” is not going to be an acceptable answer…and there is the issue….it sucks, I agree…but clearly they either are missing parts or they have a part they discovered was defective…and are awaiting replacements. My guess is it isn’t just one part, but across all the vehicles, a multitude…and probably way too complex for the normal order info system
Interesting. I still don’t have a sticker. Womp Womp Womp.
I still don’t have one either :( passed the 3 month mark of being built yesterday.

Does yours show up in VinView now for your dealer? I’m sorry if you already answered this…
I’m actually not sure, I haven’t asked them specifically if they are able to vinview. This is our first time ordering a vehicle and stumbling into this forum has been way more informative than my dealer has been in this process.

I really doubt Expedition / Navigator buyers are going through this much nonsense. Ordered since 12-2021 and still waiting. Car built 6-23 but no help from dealer or chat on the VIN #. Can't even get clarification if car is I'm Midlothian or Arlington.

Luckily it doesnt really matter, neither of them mean you're getting it any time soon.

*UNREAL*
Just spoke with my dealership and I'm now at the dreaded 4D00 MP status; waiting on chips. She said she just got off of a call with GM not long ago, and she said GM has shut down 2 of their plants to get the backlog of trucks retrofitted with their missing chips, and then transported to the dealerships. She said they are moving them by production date, to get to the ones that have been sitting the longest. They plan to have all of their backlog complete by October.

Unreal that I was "reassured" time and time again by the Executive Resolutions team that my Yukon was NOT waiting on chips...unreal. I sort of assumed this to be the case, but to be told repeatedly that this was NOT the hold-up and to only now learn it is...I'm fuming. Sales Manager said I could put in an order for the '23 but the price went up another $3,500 last week...

oh man! that is absolutely horrible they have continued to give BS week after week after week to you on this. They need to do something to rectify this situation for all of the folks that have been waiting on these chips for months.
