You're shittin' me right? My 6.2 LTZ burns NOTHING but premium at about $3.50/gal. right now especially since the BB tuning and I'm considering a magnacharger if I can get the effing trans working right and you're bitching about mileage with mom and dad paying half your bills? Gimme a break.

Yeah, you're not making much sense there...I don't get what you're trying to say.

Someone with forum power feel free to LOCK this thread, I don't need any more shit about being a 17 year old with no bills to pay on his truck. If I had a job I'd be happy to pay them and relieve my parents of that responsibility, but I'm still looking.

You have anything you can sell off? I just went through and kept only what I needed. Sell stuff on ebay or somethin. dvds you never watch, books, outdoor gear. Try gettin a job at a golf course. Best job I ever had. You are very fortunate to have what you do though, some people tend to get jealous over that. Just always be willing to work hard and you will be good. have your dad and mom let people know that you are willing to work. I got a few jobs that way helping older people simply clean up around the house. yard work whatever. People need things done and are willing to pay a teen a bit to do it. Just make sure you do a good job. Good luck!

Thanks for the really good advice puckhead. I have a few people looking for any openings for me, and until then I will do the typical house stuff and yard work and stuff.

No problem! My family always wanted to do the family vacation thing too but we kept it to about one long one per summer so employers were a little more forgiving. I dunno if you guys go to church but you could even put it in the bulletin there or somethin. Get your name out as a hard worker and go from there. If they ask a price say 10 in hour. Thats what I did at least. And you almost always get free food and drink!! The one lady I know the best and keep in touch with has bought me cooking supplies, a suit and jacket and several other small things while in college, and I havent worked for her in a year! Make good impressions and good things happen
