Mirror Backup Cam

Hello all. I've done a search for this but I've come up empty handed so far. I'm looking at adding a backup cam to my 04 Yukon Denali. I'd like to have the screen in the rearview mirror but I've run into a problem with that route. My rearview mirror has the onstar controls which I'm not too concerned with losing. However it also has the indicator for when the passenger airbag is on/off. Is there a GM mirror that has a screen for the backup cam AND the passenger airbag indicator? If not, will it hurt anything to replace it with an aftermarket mirror? Thanks in advance for any help!

No

No. From my understanding you'll just lose the light and Onstar. Easiest way to find out is just to unplug your current mirror and drive around for a few days...

Yes you will lose the passenger airbag light but you can retain the Onstar functions
