Recently took my 2005 GMC Yukon in to the dealer because I kept getting an check engine signal. The truck would idle very hard, however it never cut off. History: I replaced plugs and wires and because of a EVAP code, I replaced the canister by the gas tank. After all this, I still got a check engine. I took in to a dealer and they told me I needed a new fuel pump for $800.00. I thought that was a bit steep so I payed them for their diagnosis and took it to a local service shop. They ran the fuel pressure test and said my pressure was at 60PSI. So no need for a fuel pump but that my cylinder # 7 wasn't performing right. After several ohms test and a new injector ( which they removed after realizing that wasnt the problem) they had no idea what the problem was. Has anybody run into this problem? I am residing to the fact that I may have to take my truck back to the dealer.
