You would either do the math of what all you've added, or you would weigh your car. Yes it's safer to err on the high side versus the low side, but I've towed many a mile with near-stock pressures and no excessive tire heat noticed.How does one know what their payload is? If towing heavy, isn't the "fail-save" to inflate to max pressure rather than be under inflated and experience a catastrophic tire failure?
