Stock 1999 GMC Suburban 3.73 and G80.

I am looking for these mods....any recommendations are appreciated.

Cold air intake: K&N?

Tune: superchips 2865 tuner?

Exhaust: Currently, I cant hear the exhaust from my driver's seat. I want to keep as close to now during idle and highway, but hear the exhaust when I floor it!

Thanks in advance.

Cold air intake: K&N? K&N, Airaid or Volant is fine

Tune: superchips 2865 tuner? BlackBear. Don't waste your money on a hand held

Exhaust: Currently, I cant hear the exhaust from my driver's seat. I want to keep as close to now during idle and highway, but hear the exhaust when I floor it! I personally prefer Flowmaster but Magnaflow is good as well as several others. I'd encourage research on YouTube and listen for the exact sound that you are after. It's really mainly up to each individual and their tastes

Thanks in advance.

My suggestions in bold print above... Just my two cents worth

Good suggestions :)

I run two flowmaster 40 series on my hoe because I dont ever notice any noise at high way speeds even though you CAN hear them. But I have heard a lot of good stuff about the 50 series and how they have the grumble when you get on it, but are quite when at idle and lower rpms

Black bear tune, a nice CAI and I prefer Borla Muflers. The BB tune will yiled the most noticable gains from any low dollar modification you can do

Not to hijack but, Black bear should be done prefereably after CAI, Exhaust, throttle body etc?? or will it still give you an increase without those types of mods??

just tell BB that you will be adding these parts. I don't think it makes a big difference in teh tune to be honest

did you do something to your exhaust to begin with? you shouldn't be hearing anything honestly from a stock truck, esp under your seat. maybe you have an exhaust leak or something.....
