I do not know a ton (anything at all) about the g80 in the 14 bolt. I'll go out on a limb and say it is much stronger than it's little brother though? Please correct me if I am wrong though.

I've really never heard anything bad about it. But I'm not totally sure either.

---------- Post added at 09:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:26 PM ----------

ok so iv ben researching the g80 . . . says a full float only comes in 8 lug hubs so i gota

hav a semi float . . . and the factory locker is a gov-loc locker . . . but what i don't

understand is that everyone says it pops and knocks on a turn i guess on a wet road

but mine dose not . . . and they also say that it takes the effort of mashing the gas

before it locks in but i was out in field yesterday and was barely on the gas in soft

ground and both my wheels were spinning . . . for currently being 2 wheel drive it

goes where no other will so i don't have no complaints just like to have an

understanding . . . it will smoke tires on dry payment both at same time so theres

gota be something im missing. . . i think it was kris that said its a disaster waitin to

happen tho when you do that so ima keep off the gas for now till i learn more

Well, a 10 bolt G80 is a disaster waiting to happen. There's a really informative video on Youtube from a guy on Pirate4x4 about what breaks in the G80's. As for the 14 bolt, I have no idea really.

Honestly, even with a 14bolt FF, you can still break something if you beat on it. Treat your truck right, and it will treat you fine.

i gota question . . . some guys said go to a 3inch block instead of a 2 . . . is there a

limit i should keep in mind if i swap out my blocks . . . i mean i think id rather go like

5 or 6 if thats even possible . . . i understand the role issue becouse of my

bronco i had befor this you could only go so high with those but i figured since i

have a 6 inch suspinsion lift already that might help to ballence it plus putting

bigger tires on it like 39 super swamp boggers
