ya im not sure if its cranked or not . . . i mean it feels pretty stiff but yet

soft so im not sure il find out sometime this week when i get it back . . .

if i get a good deal on this set of tires and i need another inch to clear them

then il crank it more and add a 3 inch or 4 inch block whichever and i think

that should be fine if not il just get a size smaller lol . . . i didn't realize

how complicated it would be to lift it alot higher

your chasing your tail here. Cranking and a 3-4" block isn't going to give you what you are after. You might....might be able to get 1-2" up front on that truck, that's it. Get us a picture of teh front set up so we can see the angles as well as the set up for the rear.

This will tell us what you can get out of it

alright man il do that as soon as i get my truck back . . . the way i

understood it was you crank the keys and it

raises the front and i figured i would just go with a bigger block on both

ends to keep it even may not even need to crank it . . . what i need to do

is take it to big o and see how big of a tire i can fit under it and how much

higher i may need to go and just basically build my basis around the

tire . . . i may not need it at all but id still like it to look lifted and have

room and not be hugging the tires you know what i mean . . . i just got

confused in one grate big mess with this hole deal lol . . . il post some

piks up soon as i can and do some searching online some more . . .

thanks for answers

or maybe see what i can get out of the front like you said maybe 1-2 inches and

just swap out the block in the back to even the truck . . . that would be cheaper

wouldn't it but also make it ride harder right

I've just been catching up with this thread, but are you talking about adding a 2inch lift block in the rear or are you talking about buying a bigger lift block?

Either way, oh my. Just shackle flip the rear and buy some lift springs if needed. Don't use blocks that tall. And whatever you do, DO NOT STACK LIFT BLOCKS.

Lifting the back isn't going to change the fact that the front can't go much higher without new kit or complete change of suspension up front.

completely understand no stacking . . . heres what i thought was on my

i thought this is how the setup was suppose to be . . . you got your suspinsion lift

on and then you got 2 inch blocks on the front and the back right that

is the only way that makes since to me . . . what i was tlking about

was swaping out my blocks for a bigger one to clear big tires . . . im

almost positive i can clear 38s or 39s easyily but if i get this deal on

a set of 40s then i wanna add bigger blocks on my truck instead of doin

anything to the suspinsion lift . . . or a shackle flip becouse that only

lifts the rear end right . . . i don't know how this thread got so confusing

lol

so i can't add a bigger block up front to go higher
