i gota question . . . some guys said go to a 3inch block instead of a 2 . . . is there a

limit i should keep in mind if i swap out my blocks . . . i mean i think id rather go like

5 or 6 if thats even possible . . . i understand the role issue becouse of my

bronco i had befor this you could only go so high with those but i figured since i

have a 6 inch suspinsion lift already that might help to ballence it plus putting

bigger tires on it like 39 super swamp boggers

A 4inch block would be the biggest I'd ever run. It's what I have now, but it's not what I want. Even that, I feel is too much. You would be better off with a shackle flip or lift springs.

please do not put the leafs in upside down. Just don't.

A shackle flip is just what it sounds like, the rear leaf mount is replaced with a unit that holds the spring pack at a lower elevation. Google it and see the pictures to get a better understanding.

ight i googled it . . . im not gonna say 100% that i have that already

but im pretty sure i do . . . it looks kinda chopy like you know it dnt suit

the style on my rig . . . thats why i think i have one already becouse i didnt

like how it looked on it

---------- Post added at 04:57 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:56 PM ----------

but then again i may be wrong and not have one . . . and if i did get one it might be hid

well compared to the trucks i seen with it

dos this mean i can't have more than 4inches of lift on it already or dos it mean

that will give me an extra 4 inches of lift . . . and it said something about replaceing

the body block . . . but i shouldn't have to right cuz that is above the shackel

sorry bout the spelling

iv seen a jeep with shackle flips on both ends rear and front and you know how

its already mounted to the bumper anyways but iv seen em really twisted and

warped from hits bumps and what not . . . im sure it would be stronger with stock

frame mount then it would be adding the shakle flip brackets . . . i may be wrong

tho

I do not think you have a shackel flip. Looking in your album looks like a 6" lift with a 2 or 3" body lift. Unless you opt to get a larger front differential drop or an SAS you are out of luck

You've got a 6" lift now....the front isn't getting any taller without a bigger lift of converting to an SAS. Lift in the front when adding a solid axle is done with leafs, not a shackle flip, more lift would need more spring arch. Shackle flip is done on the back. You could do that and keep the block or whatever is currently lifting teh back but you will have some ****** up rake.

tires than for now

it looks like it would look really good with the tires i have now only bigger like 38s

iv seen older piks that looks like it had something close to that before . . .

but than again i love that aggressive look the boggers give off plus the hum they

give to but i feel it won't look clean and fit the truck

swap to a dick cepek lift or one of the older like fts lifts that they made with like 10inch lift or idk. i hate big ifs lifts personally seeing the huge drop down in the front and t bars down. id do a sas if i had the money. my buddy did one and is on 38s on his tahoe and it towers over his tires and it bad ass. later on down the road im ditchin my bl and going with a sas with 37s or 38s with 14ff rear and d44 up front

thought this was a fake till i read the beginning lol. didnt think that was your truck seen in on a lot of other forums being built up.

ya i thought they made those but i wasn't sure iv seen ppl with em but i

can't find em any where . . . and ya iv ben thinking if i go higher with lift

its gonna look chopd for a daily driver but clean for a mud rig and id

like to keep it at a daily driver so im just gonna stick with getting

bigger tires and maybe an inch or 2 bigger block but that should be it
