"trade in values" are definitely taking a hit but new Yukons/Tahoes are still bringing sticker - sure there's a softening but not enough to create inventory.
so while they are still asking (and getting) MSRP or more - dealers are really protecting themselves on trade in values. Sold a 2022 Z71 a few weeks ago and dealers were only interested in giving what i viewed as considerably below book value...Very good trade in value was $68k-71k and offers ranged anywhere from $60-64k...several mentioned that the original MSRP was $66k and that they wouldn't go over that or flat out asked what I wanted since the sticker was $66k - even though it was 4 months old and the MSRP of a new one is now almost $69k.
