Both trucks look hot!!
I say you get your grille shell to be white instead of chrome!

yeah i've been thinking about that also, planning on getting a chrome mesh grill kinda like all the chrome instead

I love those fogs.
yeah me also i think it definitely gives it a unique look

awesome man truck looks really good
thanks bro..

yea +1 to paint the grill shell and i LOVE 3000k hids(you fogs?).. i got those on my bike
grr all these replays making me wanna paint the grill shell white, i don't think my chrome shell would hold all that paint so probably end up looking for a Z71 shell.

Looks Awesome!!! It's like a white mirror :)

What was the final process, clay, compound, wax?

Colormatch your grill and remone the cross bars on your roof rack :imo:

yeah i couldn't believe how shiny the paint was there was lights reflecting the hood i was like oh WTF !! but then realize how shiny the paint was

i was thinking of doing that actually removing the roof rack bars, but currently trying to ****** a esky roof rack from the local pick up parts for under 250.00

I did the following

1.Rubbing compound to get rid of all the excess glue from the moldings and all the fine scratches from the Eraser too

2. Clayed it smooth like butter

3. Meguairs Cleaning wax

i got say next day i woke up ******* sore from all the wax on wax off..

Mine are coming off. Just made the decision yesterday when I was washin her..

So.. use a heat gun and pull them off.. then use a light rubbing compound followed by claybar and cleaner wax right?

I'm f**kin scared. Hope the paint matches... I remember someone on here had a bad experience pulling them off.

LOL i was the same way too bro, When i was pulling them off and all the ******* glue was sticking to the paint instead of the moldings, i was like oh **** what the **** did i do to my truck !!!:emotions122: I actually found the method that worked best for me... this was by pulling as hard as i can to the moldings to leave less glue stucked to the paint and this actually worked all though i did rip one molding off :(

but then took a deep breath

i used the 3M Eraser tool works wonders bro honestly, i did notice a slight color discoloration (yellowish) shadow but with the work of rubbing compound i was able to get all the discoloration off, then after that i clayed waxed it and threw on some wax..

Dont let this discourage you at....... all tough it sounds bad you will be happy with the end results. Just be ready to DEDICATE A Whole entire DAY. NOW RIP THEM OFF BRO AND LETS SEE PICS I hope this helps you..
