Hey Guys & Gals ... I'm looking for a quick answer for a friend of mine. He has a '99 that he blew a transmission and motor on. He's in the process of having a new motor and transmission, along with acc's, reinstalled and asked me what "the best" (most robust) motor mounts are. He plans on doing some v-e-r-y backcountry roads and wants to make sure he has the best. Any suggestions that you all might have which I can pass along?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer ...

I run poly mounts on my Camaro, less flex and movement then the rubber stockers. You can go solid too ... That might be OK, I wouldn't go solid for the tranny mount.

Ok, well in the DSM world aka turbo'd eclipse's we use to get poly from home depot and fill in the stock mounts.

Worked like a charm, my whole shook like it had a BBC instead of turbo'd 4g63 running about 500hp.
