Can Someone write a reveiw on the 40 flowmaster

Let's put it this way. I had true dual 3 inch 40 series Flowmasters (with x pipe) on my 500hp/600lb.ft. 1972 Cutlass 455ci.

Do you get an idea of how right BruceBruce45 is? (Except I know they Flow well ) lol. Yes, they'll be loud all the time.

FYI: If you only do one, and leave the cats, it won't be AS loud, but the way Flowmaster works, the lower the number, the louder the pipe.......and If I remember correctly, 40 is as low as it goes on the street.

How is comparing any muffler on a 455ci motor the same as a stock 4.8 or 5.3? To the op with a 40 flowmaster ur hoe will sound like every other redneck around with flows. If u want a performance sound with nice tone get a medium case straight thru magnaflow

FlowMaster (SUV 50 Series)! CHeck the FLowmaster website and you can see the graph for sound. You will see what I mean by SUV 50 Series.
I think they may have sound clips also..

Just ignore brucebruce, He thinks he knows what he`s talking about but obviously does not.

I asked him for proof about his opinion of flowmasters not flowing in other threads and he surprisingly has not come through..

In past posts i have provided a link that proves him wrong and he still sticks to his guns.

Its a argument over 1 to 2 hp anyway. Its a sound on these trucks not a power increase
