Just ignore brucebruce, He thinks he knows what he`s talking about but obviously does not.

I asked him for proof about his opinion of flowmasters not flowing in other threads and he surprisingly has not come through..

In past posts i have provided a link that proves him wrong and he still sticks to his guns.

Here ya go fgt. Just 1 of many on google. You wouldn't know bc u liketo be spoon fed, granted this is on a mustang but I'm sure u can get the picture...or maybe u cant. Once again it's over a handful of hp but IMO flowmasters drone and sound like redneck shit. So if u like em so be it but I will never own another one. common sense would tell u this doesn't flow very well. spend some time on pttrucks.net maybe u will learn something

So you post the proof that i posted in another thread after you couldn`t find any? Brilliant work finding it! How long did that take you?

As i have said before, Straight through mufflers do flow better "which can be found in the link i posted" than flowmasters but it equates to a whole two to five horsepower give or take on the mustang. I bet the gains are alot closer on trucks like ours and you will never feel any difference between mufflers.

I prefer flowmasters and never bash on any others just because i may not like the way they sound. Your truck, do to it what you want.

All i know is that i could feel an immediate difference when i bolted on my catback. You probably put your flowmaster on backwards resulting in loss of power and is why you have an extreme hatred for them.

You have also stated that stock mufflers flow better than flowmasters which we all know to be false.

Keep up the good work detective.

Damn that's what it was, it was on backwards. U wont change my mind on or the thousands that hate these mufflers. I do hope u didn't pay money for a catback flowmaster system. What a fail

How is comparing any muffler on a 455ci motor the same as a stock 4.8 or 5.3? To the op with a 40 flowmaster ur hoe will sound like every other redneck around with flows. If u want a performance sound with nice tone get a medium case straight thru magnaflow

How does making yourself look like an ******* help anybody?????

The point I was making, was that when I built my Cutlass, I wanted the loudest mufflers Flowmaster offered for the streets.............which was the 40 series.

Also, if you think that back pressure is unimportant, then you're really showing your ignorance, so why not just try and stop picking fights with people......or just figure out what the **** you're talking about before you run your mouth?

Like previously stated comparing ur car to a 4.8 or 5.3 isn't relative. Nowhere did I say anything about backpressure btw. But since u brought it up do some research on it before hand. Stating my opinion on a muffler isn't starting a fight.

You're blurring the facts to mask your opinion as fact (I.E. Leading people to believe that more flow equals better performace somehow).

Listen, I've been on this forum for almost two years, and of all the forums I belong to (or have belonged to), this one is the best. You are the first persom I've EVER seen troll this forum. If you have a valid point, please make it. Right now you're not helping the OP at all......or are you trying to tell me that by letting the OP know that "The LOUDEST MUFFLER FLOWMASTER OFFERS FOR THE STREET IS THE 40 SERIES", I'm somehow missing his point, just because I mentioned my car, which also happens to be designed by GM?......or is it the engine size difference you take issue with?........because if you want to get picky, we can talk about compression too.

My point is, if you're not helping, you're just being a *****. Sorry if I come off like an *******! I don't mean to. I just don't like tip-toe-ing around these issues on a forum that has so many good hearted people.

Only thing u have said is they are loud. Pat on the back for u bro. Op wanted a review, I gave my opinion on said product, gave other performance forums views on the same product. Troll if u want I've actually provided more info to the guy than any of you.

LOL, Bruce must be friends with a mod. He looks so cool now.........but I'll entertain you anyway:

Your opinion isn't based in reality at all though. That's my problem. You just plain don't know what you're talking about. ;)
