That's what I'm doing lol. I just hope it doesn't produce that much glare. I know I have to aim them down but still if I get flashed multiple times they're coming out. Blinding people is just to big of a dick move for me.

Oh it took 15 days from overseas. And I am not in stock light housings.

Well that's good. It'll give me time to return my sidemarkers and parking lights. The sidemarkers that got sent to me were broke, then the parking lights cracked around the screw when I barely snugged them. I guess I'm gonna stick to buying lights from certifit. The TYC taillights were cut crooked too but I don't really care since it's not really noticeable. I still gotta get around to taking a better look at that AC system. I'm hoping to get a deal on these 08 18" tahoe rims this week. After all that I want to sand the rust off the top of my hoe and bedline it. Sooner or later I'll get the funds for a Rough Country lift.

Got my hids today. I ordered the mounting brackets with them and they didn't fit the ballasts. I had to drill out the holes bigger. I gotta get a relay for them, when I start the truck one of them will turn off or when I turn the lights on only one works. In order to fix it I have to turn off then back on. Seems like there isn't enough power to power both ballasts. I will post pics later, they will show where I mounted the brackets so if you get them you will know where I mounted them. I love the 6000k by the way, perfect amount of blue. Here is my review on DDM; they are ok, not the best. Probably won't buy any more kits from them since the brackets were wrong and the bolts didn't even fit their own holes. I had to drill them out bigger.

I couldn't figure out what was wrong with them so I kept turning them off and on:doh2:. I guess that's what happens when you've never dealt with HIDs before. Hopefully I don't lose too much bulb life. It's a good thing I have a lifetime warranty. I don't know why people make such a big deal about glare, they have as much as Silverstars. Also I broke the damn adjustment screws for the lights, I'll have to hit the junkyard and find working good ones.

unknown at this time.
could you have possibly gotten the wrong brackets for the ballast you chose. And that is to blue for me. And for the records I have headlighting from ddm, Anzo led conversion housings and headlight housings and any plug in bulb is from super bright. Anytime power to vehicle is on so is all external lighting. Been that way for three years and never had to replace a bulb. Cant seem to break them. Only upgrade to different variants of original design.

That's what I was thinking, maybe i got one for a 55w? I wasn't willing to call DDM and have to wait for new brackets from China. It still worked just had to dremel the hole bigger on the bracket, drill the holes out on the ballast, and and drill third hole in the bottom. It didn't bother me, only took five minutes. I've always had bad luck with double sided tape and don't like drilling holes for something like that. The lights are actually really white, for some reason the photo makes it look blue. I think that was on warm up too. I guess I don't have to worry about the bulbs blowing. Is there photos of your truck, it sounds pretty badass?
